About the Financial Award
Established in 2014, the Kwai Fong and Raymond Goh Scholarship is made possible by Kwai Fong and Raymond Goh through the Community Foundation of Singapore.
The scholarship aims to motivate and assist full-time undergraduates with demonstrated financial needs from the following schools at the Singapore Management University to achieve academic excellence:
- Lee Kong Chian School of Business
- School of Economics
- School of Computing and Information Systems
- School of Social Sciences
Through the scholarship’s financial support, they hope to encourage the students to strive for academic and personal excellence, as well as to inspire them to give back to the society by paying it forward.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates in any year of study from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Economics, School of Computing and Information Systems and School of Social Sciences
- Singapore Citizens
- Possess good academic achievements (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
- Special consideration for students with demonstrated financial need (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- Each scholarship is valued at $10,000 and tenable for one year of study.
- The scholarship will be used to pay for the recipient’s school fees and other study-related expenses.
- At the expiry of the tenure period, recipients may apply in the subsequent year(s) for the same scholarship if they satisfy the necessary conditions.
