About the Financial Award

Supported by funds contributed by the Yong Pung How School of Law's faculty, members of the legal fraternity and the community at large, the Law Study Mission Financial Grant is available to Bachelor of Laws undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time Bachelor of Laws undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law
  • Must have gained enrolment into the LSM course
  • Any nationality
  • Demonstrated financial hardship in the family (with a gross monthly per capita income in accordance with prevailing Ministry of Education guidelines) [Priority will be given to students with verified per capita income (PCI) and/or Gross Household Income (GHI)]
  • Students who are in receipt of other scholarships/study awards/bursaries may apply but priority will be given to eligible students who are not in receipt of such awards or assistance

Tenure and Benefits

  • $1,000 (cash allowance)
  • Tenable for the approved overseas student programme

Conditions of Award

  • The Recipient must submit a bursary application to validate their household income
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
