About the Donor
The Mr & Mrs Kho Man Kai Emergency Grant is established by Mr David Kho to support students at SMU who face or may face unforeseen crisis that result in them or their families experiencing financial difficulties. David believes that sometimes there are incidents in life such as the loss of a job, an illness of a family member or the death of a family member that might throw one off track, for a while. David would like to help students facing such circumstances to continue their academic progress despite these challenges. This financial grant is set up specifically to help alleviate their short-term financial hardships so that such incidents would not result in them having their education interrupted or they having to quit pursuing a degree altogether.
