About the Award
Established in 2025, the Award is to recognise a student within the International Moots Programme at Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) who best exemplifies the values of the SMU mooting community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates shall be full time undergraduate students participating in the International Moots Programme at the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) of the University
- A nomination-based process may be used to support the selection of the award recipient
- Factors considered include (but are not limited to):
o The student's collegiality
o Active involvement in the mooting community
o Contributions to the training and development of fellow mooters, and overall embodiment of the collaborative spirit of mooting
o The award is not contingent on competition results and shall be open to all mooters, regardless of year of study
The Award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit
