About the Award
Established in 2016, the Rajah & Tann Prize for the Best First Year Law Student motivates exceptional student talents from the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University and spur them to greater heights of academic excellence. It provides recognition for the best first year law student.
The Prize will be given out at a University-level event.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Prize will be given to the best first year full-time Law student from the YPHSL with the overall highest GPA based on Law modules enrolled in the year.
- Factors considered include (but not limited to) the overall GPA and any other factors which demonstrate the student’s all-rounded abilities.
The Prize will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
