About the Award

Established in 2016, the Rajah & Tann Prize for the Best Second Year Law Student Award motivates exceptional student talents from the Yong Pung How School of Law (YPHSL) at the Singapore Management University and spur them to greater heights of academic excellence.  It provides recognition for the best second year law student.

The Prize will be given out at a University-level event.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Prize will be given to the best second year full-time Law student from the YPHSL with the overall highest GPA through all modules registered in year 2.
  • Factors considered include (but not limited to) the overall GPA and any other factors which demonstrate the student’s all-rounded abilities.

The Prize will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Benefits

  • Certificate and $3,000 cash prize
  • Internship opportunity

Application

The recipient will be determined by YPHSL.
