About the Financial Award

Established in 2019, the Sebrina Holdings Endowed Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. The objective is to motivate and inspire, as well as provide financial assistance to students. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time Year 3 undergraduates in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Reside in 4-room type HDB flat or smaller
  • With demonstrable financial needs (gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $1,725)

Benefits

  • $15,750 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

Mr Muzayyin established Sebrina Holdings in 1995 as a family office to manage the family’s investments and businesses. Sebrina Holdings is a now a multi-asset class family office headquartered in Singapore. With a rich history steeped in oil & gas, the group has been investing in people, ideas and businesses for more than two decades. Under Mr Muzayyin’s leadership, the group’s oil trading and assets business have grown into a multi-billion dollar company.

Established in 2019 by Sebrina Holdings, the Sebrina Holdings Endowed Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at providing financial assistance to financially-challenged and deserving undergraduates, as well as motivating them to achieve academic excellence.
