About the Financial Award

Established in 2009, the Sing Lun Scholarship is funded from the proceeds of endowed contributions by Mr Patrick Lee and family. The contributions were made in honour of the late Mr Lee Chee Hung who founded Sing Lun as well as to further educational causes.

The scholarship aims to recognise academic excellence and provide financial support for full-time financially needy undergraduates studying at the Singapore Management University.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizen
  • Full-time undergraduate enrolled in any degree programme
  • Proceeding to Year 3 in the year of the award
  • Good academic achievements (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Preference for students with excellent community service records
  • Demonstrated financial need throughout the Scholarship’s tenure, in line with MOE’s prevailing criteria

Benefits

  • $16,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/or other study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for two years of study
