About the Financial Award
Established in 2024, the objective of the SMU Fortitude Scholarship (Elevate@SMU) is to motivate undergraduate students at the School of Computing and Information Systems enrolled in the Elevate@SMU programme, with demonstrated financial needs to inspire academic excellence despite adversity and financial hardship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore Citizen.
- Full-time first-year undergraduates from the School of Computing and Information Systems enrolled in the Elevate@SMU programme.
- Preference for students with active CCA or community involvement with demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Preference for candidates with demonstrated evidence of family household income where the gross monthly per capita income is in accordance with prevailing Singapore Ministry of Education guidelines.
Benefits
- Scholarship shall have a total value of S$15,000 and tenable for 4 academic years, subject to continued observance of the required criteria (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses).
- Scholarship is bond-free
