About the Donor
Ms Zhang Lu is the Vice Chairman and a controlling shareholder of the Tech-Link Group, a Singapore-headquartered company with a long history in logistics and industrial solutions. Founded in 1988, the Group has since expanded into real estate development, completing more than three million square feet of high-specification logistics space in Singapore and over 1.5 million square metres of industrial and logistics facilities in China, primarily in the Yangtze River Delta region. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dexion Asia Pacific, the Group is also a leading international industrial and commercial storage solutions provider with operations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
The Group’s growth has been closely tied to Singapore, which served as its springboard for regional expansion. Along the way, support from government initiatives such as SPRING Singapore’s Local Enterprise Finance Scheme and IE Singapore’s Internationalisation Finance Scheme played an important role in enabling its projects and acquisitions.
Having benefited greatly from Singapore’s support and ecosystem, Ms Zhang Lu is deeply motivated to give back. Through this scholarship, she hopes to create meaningful opportunities for undergraduates in financial need, levelling the playing field and empowering them to pursue their education with confidence. Her aspiration is that, in time, these students will also contribute to society and extend the spirit of giving to others.
