The fact that we are very well-connected transport-wise, as well as our proximity to the CBD, has made it fairly easy to persuade industry practitioners to visit us to speak with our students. Arranging meet-ups with potential research collaborators, even those from overseas, has also been quite a breeze.
Football (especially Liverpool) fans, please don’t cringe…but I think that at SMU and especially the School of Law, our students do not walk alone. The teaching faculty and administration genuinely want our students to not only succeed, but also to have an enriching and fulfilling educational experience. To this end, the folks at SMU work hard at listening to our students.
