Please share your internship experience.

The latest internship experience that I embarked on was a 6-month long internship with BNP Paribas under the Global Markets division where I was placed under the Prime Brokerage Sales desk. This internship was very fulfilling as it allowed me to experience and learn firsthand, what sales and trading were really like compared to only having a rough idea about it based on movies/TV shows and seniors’ accounts. The internship also allowed me to gain exposure to different markets/desks which I otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to easily be able to as a university student.

Strategy. The business case style learning really allows you to apply what you have learnt to the real-world context which enables you to better appreciate the theories taught.
