"SMU provides a safe space for me to explore abundant opportunities and experiment with ideas. The supportive people and environment keep me motivated to continuously learn, where I know I have the freedom to design and craft my own journey of learning. How exciting!"

Please share a key highlight of your student life in SMU.

During my stay in PSR (Prinsep Street Residences), I have made wonderful friends from various countries (we can have 8 different nationalities in a 10-person apartment). One of my favourite memories was when my apartment mate and I would plan to go for a morning walk, expecting a 30-to-45-minute walk, but we often ended up at a breakfast spot just five minutes in. It happened a few times, and those moments are especially dear to me when life gets busy.

How has SMU’s city location enriched your university experience?

Being in the heritage district is a privilege, as the liveliness of the area refreshes my mind whenever I take a walk. The students here also frequently expect guests from various industries and companies in the city, offering countless networking opportunities and avenues for exploration.

In 1-2 sentences, summarize how SMU has changed you for the better!
