With SMU, I have travelled to…

I’m currently doing my International Student Exchange Programme at Paris Dauphine University. The main reason why I chose France is due to its central location in Europe. I knew I wanted to travel to multiple countries while I was there, hence France would be a great base. It was amazing to be able to travel to different countries/cities every weekend, visit different heritage sites and meet so many different people all over the world.

Please share your internship experience.

I have had the opportunity to intern in various roles such as Product Management, Solutions Architect and Software Engineer, in companies of various industries and sizes. All of which have been fruitful and enriching experiences that have allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the job scope of each role and the different company culture.

What is the #1 thing you think you will miss about SMU after you graduate?

Staying till last train/bus timings to do our projects. The blood, sweat and tears made together as a group of friends would be memorable. These were the fun and difficult times where we had heated debates, disagreements, but still managed to deliver and project and most importantly, forged a deeper friendship.

A fun fact about SMU

There is a beautiful Fort Canning Park near the School of Law. Great for picnics, gatherings or an evening stroll!
