“I chose to come to SMU because of the highly engaging and interactive classes. Every aspect of class work, such as assignments and group projects, all help to develop important soft skills such as communication and critical thinking skills, as well as teamwork.”

Please share a highlight of your student life at SMU so far.

The key highlight of my student life has been the friends I have made along the way. I have made friends with numerous individuals from many nationalities and that helped me understand new perspectives on various issues as well as open my eyes on what is currently happening in many parts of the world.

What is your favourite local food/dish?

My favourite local food is kaya toast. I love it so much that I have made it a main part of my daily breakfast, especially when I have lessons later that day.

What is your favourite spot on campus?

My favourite spot on campus is level 2 of School of Economics/School of Social Sciences, as I spend a lot of time studying there, especially on the tables next to the seminar rooms.
