How has your SMU scholarship benefitted you so far?
Fellow scholars around me are smart, driven, and extremely good at what they do. They act as good role models for me to mimic after. Moreover, the seniors under the same scholarship are very willing to guide me. For instance, some seniors would recommend and put in a good word as I applied to their ex-internship places. They have also encouraged me to join and explore experiences in CCAs, internships, and even case competitions.
What would you say to convince someone to come to SMU?
It doesn’t matter what university you go to. It is more important to find out which aspect you’d want to grow in. I believe SMU is superb at training public speaking skills, honing business acumen, and teaching modules with practical application. If these are things that attract you, then SMU is the perfect university for you.
