“Like most students, I faced the dilemma of which university to go to but what I found most appealing were SMU’s unique teaching pedagogy and forward-thinking curriculum. I felt that SMU’s approach could empower me to become more articulate, confident and versatile, which is instrumental in today’s dynamic environment.”

How has your SMU scholarship benefitted you so far?

The Global Impact Scholarship has made my journey at SMU very exciting and meaningful! I was able to meet like-minded and driven individuals from all walks of life. The wide array of development programmes has aided in my personal growth and allowed me to gain global exposure by embarking on an International Student Exchange Programme in Switzerland (University of St Gallen) where I hope to develop strong international perspectives and immerse myself in new cultures.

Please share a highlight of your student life at SMU so far.

Definitely my one-year stay in Prinsep Street Residences (PSR).
