What is one key lesson you learned at SMU that is still relevant to you today?
Being able to stand in front of a crowd and speak well is an asset indeed. Week in week out, we have been grilled to be good presenters and it was a good training ground to be honest.
How has SMU transformed you and equipped you with the skillset to thrive in your current career?
SMU is not an institution. It is a mindset. I can only speak for my batch that entered in 2003. WE ARE DIFFERENT. We started clubs, organized events and took on initiatives. The school gave us that environment and space to thrive as an individual. The environment made us bold and not be afraid to take on challenges and with this SMU mindset, I wasn't afraid to set up and run my music and events company, Melody Central, www.melodycentral.sg.
If you had to start college all over again, what would you do differently?
Nothing, everything was perfect.
