About the Curriculum

Centred on a strong accounting core, the BAcc curriculum provides a broad-based education that nurtures students to be technically competent, socially conscious in their communities and adaptive to the real-world challenges.

Accountancy Curriculum

Additional Graduation Requirements: Digital Technology/Data Analytics (D/D), Sustainability, and Singapore and Asia Studies.

Students can meet each graduation requirement by enrolling in specific courses, or, in select Schools, through programme or major core courses where the relevant content has already been integrated to meet the graduation requirement.

Core Curriculum

Capabilities (6 Course Units)

Students will fulfil Course Units across five baskets:

  • Managing
  • Modes of Thinking
  • Numeracy
  • Writing and Reasoning
  • Internship

Communities (4 Course Units)

Students will fulfil Course Units across four baskets:

  • Economics and Society
  • Technology, Science and Society
  • Cultures of the Modern World
  • Community Service

Civilisations (2 Course Units)

Students will fulfil the following requirements:

  • Ethics and Social Responsibility
  • Big Questions
  • Global Exposure (non-credit bearing)
