School of Economics Scholarship

About the Financial Award

Supported by funds contributed by the School's faculty/staff and its fundraising activities, the objective of School of Economics Scholarship is to motivate and spur students in the School of Economics to achieve greater heights of academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates of any nationality pursuing BSc(Econs) as their primary programme of study
  • Students proceeding to their second, third or fourth year of studies
  • Good academic results
  • Good record of co-curricular activity and/or community service involvement
  • Special consideration will be given to those with financial needs (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)

Benefits

  • $3,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • The Recipients are encouraged to participate in relevant activities at the School of Economics to support the spirit of giving back to the community
  • Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
