About the Financial Award
Established in 2022, the AIWM & Abacus Asia Wealth Management Bursary is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It aims to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time first year undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Demonstrated evidence of family financial hardships (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $5,000 per year (towards subsidised tuition fee)
- Tenable for up to four years of study, subject to the recipient’s continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award.
- May be in concurrent receipt of another bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.
Learning and Development Opportunities
The recipient may be offered internship and/or recruitment opportunity by the Donor under mutually agreed terms.
Application
Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
