Share with us more about the research you did after high school when deciding which university to choose?

SMU provides a unique learning experience with its seminar style classes. This helps me to boost confidence in public speaking and able to learn and discuss more with my peers. I really enjoy classes that allows for lots of group discussions. Another deciding factor was how career ready SMU students are, the focus on career building really excites me to equip myself with real word experience through SMU-X modules and internships.

What is one thing you were unprepared for about university life that you wish you knew back in high school?

The amount of self-intro I have to do in every new class. Prepare a short description of yourself so you won’t feel so nervous!

What advice would you give to prospective students who are thinking of applying to SMU? 

Come and explore and decide for yourself!
