About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the AIWM & Global Precious Metals Bursary is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to achieve academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time first year undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Demonstrated evidence of family financial hardships (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $5,000 per year (towards subsidised tuition fee)
  • Tenable for up to four years of study, subject to the recipient’s continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award.
  • May be in concurrent receipt of another bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.

Learning and Development Opportunities

The recipient may be offered internship and/or recruitment opportunity by the Donor under mutually agreed terms.

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
