About the Financial Award

Established in 2023, the Acclaim Education Study Award is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to assist financially needy students during their course of study at the University, to aspire for greater heights of excellence despite adversity and financial hardship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time first year undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizens
  • Have demonstrable financial needs (where the gross monthly per capita income is in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $8,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.

Application

Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
