About the Financial Award
Established in 2023, the Allen & Gledhill Global Exposure Grant is available to full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law at the Singapore Management University. It aims to provide opportunities for law students aspiring to embark on an overseas exchange programme with one of the University's partner universities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates from the Yong Pung How School of Law
- Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Possess good academic results
- Accepted to participate in a term of study abroad with a partner university of SMU
- Preference will be given to students who have not embarked on any overseas programmes during their course duration
- Special consideration shall be given to students experiencing demonstrated financial difficulties (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $5,000 each (cash allowance to cover exchange-related expenses)
- Tenable for one semester of study abroad with a partner university of SMU
Application
Applications will be invited through Centre for Global Education and Opportunities' call for exchange applications:
- January to February (Fall exchange application)
- June to July (Spring exchange application)
