About the Financial Award
Established in 2022 by an anonymous donor, the CCPL Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at motivating outstanding SMU undergraduates with demonstrated financial needs, to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence, and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time incoming freshmen of any nationality enrolled in any degree programme
- Gross monthly household per capita in come not exceeding $750
- Good academic achievements (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
Benefits
- $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
- Tenable for one year of study (current recipient's application for subsequent year's award will be given priority consideration, subject to continued fulfillment of eligibility criteria).
- May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance (Singaporeans only), subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.
Application
Prospective Students
Applicants interested to be considered for this scholarship are to indicate interest in the Scholarship section of the online application form for admission. There is no separate scholarship application form.
This scholarship considers applicants with demonstrated financial needs. Applicants must also submit a separate financial aid application. This can be done via Applicant’s Self Service, after submitting the online application for admission. Prospective applicants may submit their financial aid application when it opens for its annual exercise from 1 January to 31 May.
