About the Financial Award
Established in 2011, the CLASS Bursary is aimed at providing financial assistance to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University and to motivate them to achieve all-round excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
- Singapore Citizens
- With demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household income not exceeding the prevailing income tiers to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $3,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fee)
- Tenable for one year of study
Conditions of Award
- May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
Application
Shortlisting of candidates for consideration will be from the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.

About the Donor
The CLASS Bursary is made possible by the Copyright Licensing & Administration Society of Singapore Ltd (CLASS) to provide financial assistance to full-time undergraduates who are pursuing tertiary studies at SMU.
CLASS Ltd is a non-profit organisation established in 1999. It is the collecting society in Singapore that is responsible for administering the regulations governing copying from books, journals and periodicals belonging to its local and international members of book publishers and authors.
