About the Financial Award
Established in 2013, the CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Study Award is available to full-time undergraduate students from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Accountancy, School of Computing and Information Systems and Yong Pung How School of Law at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at motivating and providing financial assistance to outstanding students to achieve greater heights of excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, School of Accountancy, School of Computing and Information Systems, and Yong Pung How School of Law
- Singapore Citizens
- Proceeding to year 2, 3 or final year of study
- Active student life and/or community service life
- Preference for students with demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $8,000 (towards annual subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for one year of study
- May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
Learning and Development Opportunities
- Recipients may be offered internship opportunity by the Donor under mutually agreed terms, but acceptance of the internship is not required.

Selection will be on the list of applicants applying for SMU-administered bursaries in the year of award.
