About the Award
Established in 2021, the Diana Koh International Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed to provide non-Singaporean female undergraduates in financial need from the ASEAN region, the quality undergraduate education they desire, by alleviating their financial stress and burden and motivating them to rise to greater heights in academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time incoming non-Singaporean female freshmen from the ASEAN region (priority consideration for students hailing directly from less-developed or poorer countries in the ASEAN region)
- Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
- Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity, financial hardship or other difficulties.
- Provided service towards community and possesses leadership qualities.
- With demonstrable evidence of family financial hardships (with gross monthly per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- Average of $26,700 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
- Tenable for up to 4 years of the recipient’s academic studies, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award.

Special consideration is given to applicants with financial needs. After you have submitted your admission application. You are required to submit a separate bursary application form via the Applicant’s Self Service from 1 January 1 to 31 May

About the Donor
The late Diana Koh Ming Ying was a highly talented and accomplished veteran in the accounting and advisory field in Singapore. Her professional success was built on her hard work and dedication as well as being the very caring and compassionate person that she was. In line with her well known generosity, a legacy to support deserving students at SMU has been established with a contribution from her estate.
