About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the GMC Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates from the School of Computing & Information Systems (SCIS) at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at motivating outstanding undergraduates to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time SCIS undergraduates proceeding to their third or final year of study and enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) programme or Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) SkillsFuture Work-Study degree programme
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Good academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Demonstrated financial need (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $12,500 (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance (Singapore Citizens only), subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.
