About the Award
Established in 2018, the Award aims to recognise and motivate full-time undergraduate students from the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), pursuing cybersecurity-related education, at the Singapore Management University to achieve all-rounded excellence.
The award will be given out at a University-level event or at such other time/event as determined by SCIS.
Eligibility Criteria
The Award will be given to the top graduating student who best meets the following criteria:
- Top Graduating Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) IS students pursuing Cybersecurity Track/Specialisation only
- Outstanding academic achievements
- Outstanding contributions to the SCIS and SMU community.
The award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

About the Donor
ISACA (previously the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is worldwide association of IS governance professionals. The association currently focuses on assurance, security, governance and risk and provides globally recognized certification in assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor), security (Certified Information Security Manager), governance (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) and risk (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control). The aim of the Singapore Chapter is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the area.
