About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the ITI@SMU Excellence Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at motivating undergraduates enrolled in/having completed the International Trading Track and/or the Maritime Business and Operations Track to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Any nationality
  • Good academic results
  • Must be enrolled in or have completed the International Trading Track and/or the Maritime Business and Operations Track conducted by International Trading Institute of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business
  • With demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)

Benefits

  • $15,000 (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance (Singaporeans only), subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.
