About the Financial Award
Established in 2022, the ITI@SMU Excellence Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. It is aimed at motivating undergraduates enrolled in/having completed the International Trading Track and/or the Maritime Business and Operations Track to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
- Any nationality
- Good academic results
- Must be enrolled in or have completed the International Trading Track and/or the Maritime Business and Operations Track conducted by International Trading Institute of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business
- With demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries)
Benefits
- $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for one year of study
Conditions of Award
- Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
