About the Financial Award

Established in 2011, the Prudential Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at motivating outstanding undergraduates with demonstrated financial needs to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in any programme of study and proceeding to second/third/final year of study in the year of award
  • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Good academic performance (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be active in community service pursuits
  • Due consideration will be given to the financial needs of students of equal merit

Benefits

  • $15,000 (towards subsidised tuition fees and study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for one year of study.
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria (for Singaporean students only).
