About the Donor

R&R Graceland Fund was set up by Ruth Chung with The Community Foundation of Singapore. With the setup of the Fund, Ruth hopes to continue her giving in the community she lives in and to encourage, inspire, empower everyone around her.

The name R&R Graceland Fund represents the initials of Ruth, and her husband Rick. As part of Ruth's philanthropic involvement, she has taken a special interest in supporting the disadvantaged community at large. The bursary with SMU was based on her belief that students with potential should be given the opportunity to obtain higher education so as to build a meaningful future for themselves and their family; thereby contributing towards building a caring and sustainable society.
