About the Financial Award

Established in 2015, the purpose of the Select Group Scholarship is to motivate deserving undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the recipients of the Scholarship for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme except YPHSL.
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • Demonstrated evidence of family financial difficulties with gross monthly household income not exceeding the prevailing guidelines to qualify for government bursaries.

Benefits

  • $ 10,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/ or study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for one year of study
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria

Learning and Development Opportunities

•    The recipient is required to complete an internship with the Donor under mutually agreed terms.

Select Group has been a leading food service provider for over two decades.

The Group has established a substantial brand presence with restaurants such as Peach Garden, Texas Chicken, Lerk Thai and Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert. The public-listed Select Group also operates food courts, cafeterias and provides institutional catering services. The Group has an overseas presence in Southeast Asia and London.
