About the Financial Award
Established in 2025, the Changemaker International Exchange Scholarship is to support full-time undergraduates at the University, with demonstrated financial needs, to embark on an overseas exchange programme with one of the University’s partner universities, in order to allow them to have a more well-rounded worldview.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time undergraduates enrolled at the College of Integrative Studies of the University
- Singapore Citizen
- Possess good academic results in line with existing and prevailing University guidelines
- Demonstrated evidence of family household income where the gross monthly per capita income is in accordance with prevailing Singapore Ministry of Education guidelines throughout the tenure of the Scholarship. [Priority will be given to students with verified per capita income (PCI) and/or Gross Household Income (GHI)]
Benefits
Valued at $5,000 (in Asia) or $10,000 (outside Asia) to fund exchange-related expenses (including air tickets, accommodation, living expenses, visa, insurance, health check-ups/vaccines, and/or study-related expenses).
Conditions of Award
- The Recipient must submit a bursary application to validate their household income
- The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
Application
Applications will be invited through Centre for Global Education and Opportunities' call for exchange applications:
- February to March (Fall exchange application)
- July to August (Spring exchange application)
- Apply via Oasis > All Apps (Financial Aid Application)

The Changemaker International Exchange Scholarship is established for outstanding undergraduates who are enrolled in the College of Integrative Studies Programme. Changemakers think about and experience the world differently. They forge a path to create a better alternative than the status quo. This exchange scholarship pays it forward for the world you can create for all of us.
Mr Matthew Michelini has paved his own way in life and often taken the road less travelled. On this journey, he was afforded the benefit of scholarships and mentorships. He is passionate about giving the same opportunity to others who take the risk to blaze their own trail.
