About the Award

Established in 2019, the IMDA TeSA (TechSkills Accelerator) Award aims to recognise and motivate full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University pursuing the SMU-Google Squared Data & Analytics Programme, offered by the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).  The award provides recognition to the top performing student from the programme.

The award will be given out at a University-level event or at such other time/event as determined by SCIS.

Eligibility Criteria

The award will be given to the top performing student from the SMU-Google Squared Data & Analytics Programme in each term who best met the eligibility criteria:

  • Achieved highest consolidated scores for ANLY104 Analytics Foundation and IS451 Digital Analytics Technology
  • Achieved Pass grade for IS490 Google Analytics Work-Study Elective

The award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.

Certificate and $2,000 Cash Prize

Application

Recipient will be determined by SCIS.

An initiative of SkillsFuture, TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) aims to build and develop a skilled Information and Communications Technology (ICT) workforce for Singapore’s digital economy.  TeSA is driven by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and in collaboration with the industry, SkillsFuture Singapore, Workforce Singapore and the National Trades Union Congress.  IMDA takes an integrated approach to ICT skills acquisition and practitioner training, enabling professionals to acquire the relevant in-demand skills.
