About the Award
Established in 2000, the KPMG Accounting Gold Medal Award is given annually to a top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student from the School of Accountancy (SOA) at the Singapore Management University.
The award will be presented at the SMU Commencement Ceremony (SOA Undergraduate Ceremony).
Eligibility Criteria
The award will be given annually to the top graduating Bachelor of Accountancy student with the highest GPA in the following Accounting subjects:
- ACCT101/111 Financial Accounting
- ACCT102/112 Management Accounting
- ACCT221 Accounting Information Systems
- ACCT224 Financial Reporting and Analysis
- ACCT331 Audit and Assurance
- ACCT332 Accounting Thought & Practice
- ACCT334 Intermediate Financial Accounting
- ACCT335 Advanced Financial Accounting
The award will only be given if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
Benefits
Certificate, Gold Medal and Cash Prize (totaling $1,750)
