About the Financial Award
Supported by collective donors, the School of Accountancy Education Enhancement Fund is available to School of Accountancy (SOA) undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Management University. The Fund is aimed at motivating and inspiring, as well as providing financial assistance to SOA undergraduates who are in need of financial assistance to participate in overseas student exchanges with SMU partner universities.
The number of grants to be awarded is at SOA's discretion and subject to availability of budget.
Eligibility
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Accountancy (primary programme of study)
- Participating in a term of international student exchange programme with an SMU partner university in China, India, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia or Thailand.
- Any nationality
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
- With demonstrated financial need (gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $2,250)
Quantum
Up to $4,000 per grant
Conditions of Award
Must have gained enrolment into an approved overseas student exchange programme.
Repayment
- No repayment is required.
- However, repayment is required in full if the student withdraws from the approved programme or SMU.
Application
- Apply via student portal, OASIS (Self-Service App – Financial Aid Application), using student computer account username and password.
- Application periods – in March for Term 1 (Fall) Exchanges and/or in October for Term 2 (Spring) Exchanges.
