About The Scholarship
The Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship is offered to outstanding citizens of Asian country/region. This scholarship is open to applicants intending to pursue the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science and Software Engineering programmes offered by the School of Computing and Information Systems at the Singapore Management University.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time SMU first year undergraduate students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Computer Science and Software Engineering programmes offered by the School of Computing and Information Systems
- Citizens of India, PRC, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
- Outstanding academic results (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40).
- Demonstrates leadership and communications skills
- Good record of co-curricular activity and/or community service involvement
- Good character record
Terms and conditions
- The scholarship holder is required to serve a 6-year bond with a Singapore-registered company immediately upon graduation from SMU
- Scholars may not concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary, grant, award or allowance without prior approval from SMU
- The scholarship will be renewed every semester upon good academic progress and good conduct
- SMU does not guarantee and/or provide scholars with employment upon graduation
- If the scholar decides to withdraw from the University and/or terminate the scholarship prematurely, the University reserves the right to impose repayment of all scholarship monies disbursed to the scholar
