About the Financial Award
SMU Access guarantees a financial aid package equal to the full tuition fees for all eligible undergraduate students with effect from Academic Year 2017/2018. The recipient of the SMU Access will be able to offset his/her tuition fees, after taking into account all scholarships, bursaries and other grants from all donors and the Singapore government. The grant amount is subject to a maximum of four years of undergraduate studies for every eligible student. The SMU Access is bond-free.

Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time first year Singaporean undergraduate
- Resides in 3-room type or smaller HDB flat and family does not own any private property (including overseas)
- Gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $750
- Utilised Tuition Fee Loan and/or CPF Education Loan Scheme

- Remaining annual subsidised tuition fees* will be covered by SMU
- Bond-free
*After taking into account all scholarships, bursaries and other grants from all donors and the Singapore government.
Application
You must first apply for a place in SMU at www.admissions.smu.edu.sg.
Then, submit your financial aid application via your Applicant’s Self-Service Portal.

SMU Access is seed-funded by the Quantedge Foundation Scholarship, a new scholarship programme endowed by Quantedge Foundation.
Quantedge Foundation is a philanthropic foundation that aims to deliver impactful solutions to social issues and challenges in Singapore. Established by the principals of Quantedge Capital, the Foundation is registered as a Charity and Institution of Public Character since February 2016.
