About the Financial Award
Established in 2024, the objective of this new SMU Elevate Scholarship is to enable working adults, 25 years or older or with extensive work experience, to benefit from a university education through the Elevate@SMU programme.
Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore Citizens
- Be 25 years old or older in the year of matriculation into SMU or have at least four years of full-time working experience. Singapore National Service can be considered as part of the 4 years
- Possess good academic results
- Does not hold a local or overseas bachelor's degree at the point of application
- Applying for admissions to a full-time undergraduate degree programme at SMU
Benefits
- $10,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
- Tenable for 4 academic years, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award

- Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and work experiences
