SMU Elevate Scholarship

Established in 2024, the objective of this new SMU Elevate Scholarship is to enable working adults, 25 years or older or with extensive work experience, to benefit from a university education through the Elevate@SMU programme.

• Applying for admissions to a full-time undergraduate degree programme at SMU
• Singapore Citizen
• Be 25 years old or older in the year of matriculation into SMU or have at least four years of full-time working experience. Singapore National Service can be considered as part of the 4 years
• Possess good academic results
• Does not hold a local or overseas bachelor's degree at the point of application

• $10,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
• Tenable for 4 academic years, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award

• May be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
• The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University

• Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and work experiences

• Shortlisted applicants may be invited to SMU for an interview
