About The Scholarship

At the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), we take pride in training computing professionals to create value for business and society, through innovative IT solutioning. We welcome qualified applicants to apply for our new SCIS Achievements / Aspirations Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time SMU first-year undergraduate student enrolling in the School of Computing and Information Systems
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
  • Good academic results
  • Good record of co-curricular activity and/or community service involvement
  • Good character record

Benefits

  • Achievements Scholarship value of S$10,000 per year and Aspirations Scholarship of value S$5,000 per year both for 4 years will offset against the tuition fees
  • Opportunity to be included in the SCIS ACE programme, with growth opportunities provided by the School of Computing and Information Systems
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award
  • Scholarship is bond-free

Tuition Grant Scheme

Non-Singaporean scholars are required to apply for the tuition grant provided by the Singapore Government. Under the tuition grant scheme, scholars will be required to work in Singapore-registered companies for a minimum period of three years upon graduation.
