Mr Jeff Tung, an alumnus of Singapore Management University (SMU), and the founder and Chairman of Sheng Ye Capital, has made an endowed contribution of S$1 million to enhance the P.A.K.[1] Entrepreneurship Fund which he and SMU alumnus Mr Benjamin Twoon had jointly established at SMU in 2015.

SMU’s Team Cognitare, comprising Daryl Peng (year 3, BBM and BAcc), Tan Shi Wei (year 2, BBM), Winna Leow (year 2, BBM) and Yang Shuqi (year 2, BSc Econ), is the first Asian team to clinch the championship title from this year’s McDonough Business Strategy Challenge, organised by Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, from Washington D.C, USA.

SMU’s Team Otaku emerged Champions at the finals of the first-ever ACTS (Association of Corporate Treasurers Singapore) Treasurers Asia Summit Business Case competition held last month. The competition was organised by ACTS to engage undergraduates, evaluate real-life challenges faced by corporations that are related and relevant to Corporate Treasury matters, and evolve practical solutions that are recognised by different players in the financial eco-system.
