Cheng Qiang Scholarship

About the Financial Award

Established in 2025, the Cheng Qiang Scholarship is to recognise full-time School of Accountancy undergraduates exhibiting good academic performance and with demonstrated financial needs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Full-time undergraduate enrolled at SOA
  • Good academic results with minimum CGPA of 3.0 in line with prevailing University guidelines
  • Demonstrated financial need in line with MOE’s prevailing criteria (not exceeding the gross monthly household per capita income in accordance with the prevailing income level for government-funded bursaries)

Benefits

  • $12,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

Conditions of Award

  • Singaporean students may be in concurrent receipt of a government bursary, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
  • The Recipient must not hold any other awards of similar nature during the tenure of the Award, except with the prior written approval of the University
