About the Donor

Looking back on their years at Singapore Management University, SMU alumni Shrawan (BSc(Econ), 2010) and Niharica (BSc(Econ), 2010) recall far more than the academic rigour and vibrant campus life. The University's transformative education, enriching co-curricular experiences, and culture of excellence played a pivotal role in shaping their personal and professional journeys. Grateful for the opportunities they received and inspired by SMU's values of leadership, excellence, and community, they are committed to paying it forward by empowering future generations of students to realise their full potential.

They feel deeply privileged to support this award and be part of a tradition of giving that strengthens the SMU community. Through this gift, the couple hope to recognise and celebrate academic excellence, encourage students to pursue their aspirations with confidence and passion, and inspire future generations to embrace the same spirit of generosity and service.
