About the Financial Award

Established in 2023, the Lim Ting Ting Scholarship is available to full-time Singaporean undergraduates at the Singapore Management University.  It is aimed at assisting financially needy students during their course duration, to spur them to aspire for greater heights of excellence despite adversity and financial hardship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in any degree programme
  • Singapore Citizens
  • With demonstrated financial needs (with gross monthly household per capita income not exceeding $2,750)
  • Possess good academic achievements 

Benefits

  • Valued at $12,000 (covering tuition fees)
  • Tenable for one year of study

About the Donor

Ting Ting graduated from the University of Bristol and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Bar. She is also an independent legal advisor for a variety of Small and Medium Enterprises in Singapore involved in the precision engineering, manufacturing, telecommunication infrastructure and technology industries.

Ting Ting has been blessed to have the opportunity to travel the world, to work and volunteer and would like to share her experience to motivate, guide and support young people as they navigate their way through their lives. She believes in empowering youth, especially young women to identify their potential and to realize their dreams.
