Why did you choose to come to SMU?
It had always been a dream of mine to study in Singapore, and SMU stood out immediately—not just because it consistently ranked above other universities in my field, but because it offered something more personal. The small, interactive class sizes were a huge draw for me, and the city campus sealed the deal. I wanted to be immersed in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, and SMU’s central location felt like the perfect launchpad for both academic and personal growth.
What is your 2nd major and why did you choose this particular 2nd major?
My second major is Finance, which I chose after taking an introductory course at university that completely changed the game for me. Not only did the subject click instantly, but I found it genuinely exciting—something about understanding markets and making strategic decisions just felt natural. Plus, it complements my primary major in Accounting really well, offering a broader perspective on how businesses operate financially.
What is your favourite spot on campus?
It might be the most popular answer, but Campus Green is still my favourite spot. There’s something really calming about being surrounded by nature—even if just for a little while. It’s the perfect place to unplug, reset, and momentarily forget the endless to-do lists and looming deadlines.
