About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the NCS Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) SkillsFuture Work-Study programme offered by the School of Computing and Information Systems at the Singapore Management University.  It aims to motivate outstanding undergraduates at the University to achieve academic excellence and to inspire the younger generation in advancing their career in the technology and services industry.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Software Engineering) SkillsFuture Work-Study programme offered by the School of Computing and Information Systems
  • Proceeding to third year of study
  • Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Good academic results (minimum CGPA of 3.40)
  • With good CCA records and/or involved in community service

Benefits

  • $12,500 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/or study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for two years of study, subject to continued observance of eligibility criteria.
  • May be in concurrent receipt of a bursary for cash allowance (Singaporean students only), subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria.

Learning and Development Opportunities

The recipients may be offered apprenticeship opportunity with the Donor organisation under mutually agreeable terms.
