About the Financial Award

Established in 2022, the SeaTown Sustainability Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University. The objective is to motivate outstanding undergraduates enrolled in any school with the University who want to expand their learning across traditional academic disciplines by taking on the Sustainability Major offered by the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, to spur them on to greater heights of academic excellence and to accord appropriate recognition to the scholarship recipients for their accomplishments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates of enrolled in any degree programme with major in Sustainability offered by the Lee Kong Chian School of Business
  • Undergraduates of any nationality
  • Good academic achievements - (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00)
  • Proceeding to year 3 or year 4 of study in the year of award
  • Preference for undergraduates who have demonstrated interest in embarking on activities/initiatives that show an active commitment toward sustainability

Learning and Development Opportunities

Recipients may be offered internship opportunity with the Donor's sustainability research team under mutually agreed terms. 

Benefits

  • $15,000 per annum (towards subsidised tuition fees and/ or study-related expenses)
  • Tenable for 1 year (for Year 4 students) or 2 years (for Year 3 students)
  • Singaporean students may apply for government bursary for cash allowance, subject to fulfilment of its eligibility criteria
